How do you sync flashes with a canon 50d? - canon 50d telescope adapter
I have a 50D, which is switched on with a flash. It is a Canon flash. I can not flash to work with him. I read the instructions and everything. Has anyone had similar problems? How can you say?

If you use a flash drive and more, can not shoot the foot when the flash has a high voltage on them. 5V expect modern cameras hot shoe. Flashes of age (10-15 years) can have more than 300V, except in the stirrup.
I know that sounds ridiculous, but there is a possibility. Are there any batteries?
